Stranger's Laugh Poem by Jhane Reyes

Stranger's Laugh

In tropical hamlet where lad was live
An empty talked, stories and jest he gave
Caught the attention of lass as cold as ice
Made alive and glisten those sullen eyes

For every unusual laughed that he made
Mend the broken heart that someone played
Sweet thought and simple ways of fondness
Touched the life and burned a sadness

Swept and dumped in believing fairy tale
Even happy ending, luck and spell
But cupid played the vague destiny
And the winds blew him into reality

Found that swaying the beat of his joy
Learned to swallow the pride and being coy
When tremble in dim he wiped moon dust
And gave a reason to smile and trust

An ordinary stranger changed everything
Tough and choosy heart start on dreaming
In a little time embarked the memories
A chamber of happiness a fun to reminisce

In scary eve such a cherish knight
For all the wrong he might be the right
Whisper of breeze a herald of endearment
To fill the emptiness he might be the God sent
