Strangers In Own Land
Way lost and starved, wandering crowd,
Walking long miles, on their feet proud,
Deserted, no one with them stands,
But not God's gifts: head, heart, and hands!
Pile of dreams on head, life in shroud,
Way lost and starved, wandering crowd….
None fending for them nor defend,
They, getting stopped at border land,
On what till late they were so proud,
Lost in plight, their cries getting loud,
On way home that looks like abroad,
Way lost and starved, wandering crowd…
