Story Of Our Life Poem by Bonnie Collins

Story Of Our Life

Rating: 5.0

Instilled inside of me are the
memories you left behind

Stored with every laughter, joy
and tear, harbored in a satin
sleve of armor

Protected against the walls of
time as we grow gracefully, they
are harvested into an eternity with
lined rose petals of our lives

In a vault of our life together when
we were filled with innocence mixed
with huge doses of passion, the kind
life only gives once in its lifetime

Moments of gold and an old photo
with you in your uniform that really
did change our lives, but I have
the vault my love inwhich contains
the story of our life.........

That uniform meant i could loose him, though he was pledged to me our country he now fights for, is far across the sea He takes with him my picture, and strings from a loving heart he will play them over and over never ending from the start
