Stop Madison! Madison Right Now! Poem by Margo Reid

Stop Madison! Madison Right Now!

Rating: 5.0

Baby when you’re old enough to read it
I know then you’re just getting around
Viewing things, the way you see fit
I know the way I make it sound
Like you were getting on my nerve
Baby you were just touching everything in sight
Now that you’re just a toddler I am here for you to serve
I wish you could at least sleep during the night
And give me the time- that I deserve
But I know that won’t happen anytime now
Since you’re still mommy little girl
During the night, I wish you could sleep somehow
I love you more then myself in this whole wide world

I watch you turn on the TV
On accident you break grandma’s glass-ware
Madison you run straight to me
Your face was full with fear
I know you were scared staring up on me
Grandma slaps you on your hand
Wondering mommy why it has to be
Madison one- day you will understand
But now, you’re just a young child
Baby you just viewing things in your own little world
Walking, talking, touching, screaming, crying, running around wild
Madison-Grace, just remember no matter how old you get, you will always be mommy’s little girl.
