Sleep My Weary Eyes Poem by Margo Reid

Sleep My Weary Eyes

Oh sleep won*t come to these weary eyes
with all my day with ceaseless care have sought
It makes my wondering tongue full of lies
Cap my mind of weirdless thoughts

Oh sleep my weary eyes
In this dimly lighted room
I'm sick of my sad - ghostly cries
Something my mind assume
I'm feeling such pain
In my weary eyes
Searching through the chambers of my brain
Please sleep my weary eyes
