Stop Just Sitting There

Beware! stop sitting there dreaming
Pray wisdom from above
Join not with devils soon screaming
Seek out Life's King of love

Let The Lord God Himself teach you
Let Jesus raise your head
God's written Word, cause life's anew
Free from the walking dead

Let devil's yarn no more entwine
Take up Salvation's Sword
Heaven's Light, enable to shine
Walking with Christ! as Lord

Lord of your life, your heart, your soul
Life's anchor, staff and shield
Let His precious blood make you whole
Darkness no more to yield

While Satan and devils are roaming
To and fro hunting wide
Methodically, frantic combing
Where sinners lost abide

Muddling, twisting, Life's guiding rules
Causing the weak to fall
Others, sitting between two stools
Hindering Heaven's call

Both you and I have witnessed, these
Feeling satanic draw
Till Jesus faithful I bent my knees
And grace laid wide Life's Door

Though dreadful lost, spiritual blind
Like me! you too can rise
With those deceived, savaged mankind
Can claim Life's ultimate Prize.....
