Stillness Speaks Poem by Dawn Novus

Stillness Speaks

Rating: 5.0

Stillness speaks

In the dark hour of the moon

Under the last day of autumn tree

I stood to hear truths unfold

Where everything that day makes glitter

Halts it's light full dance

And where silence reigns supreme

Oh mine is a wistful heart

I can carry that beautiful sigh

Upon the calm still water

And cause a turbulent wave to stir up

The dragonfly's, the night butterfly's

To where does it end...Who knows?

But as for this moment

Under the last of the autumn tree

I lean to hear the stillness speak

In the dark hour of the moon

Take me there...

A very poetic and peace giving work. We hear in the silence with you as your wonderful images speak to us too. Your silent lightless moon, your last day autumn tree, your night butterfly, dragonfly. We are hypnotized and mystified, By this work that says so beautifully and silently so much!
