Still Waiting Poem by Double A P SS

Still Waiting

Tempest never ending is still waiting
Behind the cool breeze
The calm night
Tempest never ending is still waiting
Toying with the mind
Hiding behind the shadows of the trees
Where no one with the naked eye can see
Moving fast and unseen it stalks the flesh
That steps foot outside the light
Violently ripping, shredding a man’s mind
Consuming them with darkness

Tempest never ending is still waiting
For the one lost inside the light
Tempest never ending is still waiting
For all poor souls to cower and flee into its grasp
Death blooms in the screams of agony
A man’s shadow comes to life
To strangles the mortal’s last breath
Pain is being heard throughout
All those who live are still waiting for the skies to clear
For the silent thunder to stop its roar

Tempest never ending is still waiting
Inside of nature to hunt the sinners
That runabout run throughout
Tempest never ending is still waiting
Raising an army of incomplete men
Children and women are still waiting to awaken from the dream
To see the dawn of a new beginning

Tempest never ending is still waiting
For the one gone astray inside the light
Still waiting
For the one imprisoned inside the light
Tempest never ending is still waiting
For a hero to end its rain of terror
For a pure soul to reestablish stability

Tempest never ending is still waiting
World half gone
Hurricanes, tremors, lighting, fire, horrid winds
Sharpened rain flow throughout, runabout
Tempest never ending is still waiting
For hope to step into the darkness
Tempest never ending is still waiting
Testing the will of man
Beating them half to death
Tempest still waiting is never ending
