Still Searching Poem by Kota Muller

Still Searching

Rating: 4.5

I walk into the night searching for the love we once shared once upon a blue moon. Every time I come back empty.

The only clue I have to go on is the day we first met.
I was shaking at my knees, having he feeling of thousands of butterflies knotting in my stomach.

I was and i still am slowly going to the point of insanity from your beauty.

It all feels like a dream, these last four years...
I came back last night with the words I keep so distant.
'We had a good run.'

I walk out into the night still searching for the love that we shared once upon a blue moon. This time I won't come home without you.

Love is a spiritual experience that affects all and sundry profoundly, it's also whimsical and temperamental, coming unannounced and may leave without warning. A lovely piece of poetry, well articulated and nicely penned. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem THE PHOENIX STRANGLER.
