Still I Dream Poem by Dipankar Sadhukhan

Can I never get back
What I lost?
Is my holy love
Just meaningless?

What has gone
Has gone away forever?
No.... all the stars are shining
Even in the deep day light.

Once again I'd like to be a tree
In your lovely garden.
Or I will be a singing bird
To sing a sweet music for you.

Today in the sky of my heart
Only the black clouds are there.
My dark hours may disappear
In your silver light my dear.

So, I still dream of seeing
The colorful dreams.
Still I hope to live
In the new light of love.

With the speed of time
I will go ahead every day.
One day by nature's course
Everything will be destroyed.

But the eternal lines of my verse
Will be glittering forever.
So our holy love
And we too will live forever.
