Still Botherin Me Poem by Vasto Grom

Still Botherin Me

Rating: 5.0

I put a gun to my head
Which was full of dread
Knowing that I would rather be dead

Cause the world kept botherin
Oh the world kept botherin
Yes, the world kept botherin me

The darkness swept over me
I could no longer see
I hoped that this would set me free

Cause the world kept botherin
Oh the world kept botherin
Yes, the world kept botherin me

But as I lay dying
I heard her start crying
I could feel her tears falling on me

Cause the world's still botherin
Oh the world's still botherin
Yes, the world's still botherin me

All I really wanted was to find peace
To have the pain of this world finally cease
Sadly, after my death all it did was increase

Cause the world's still botherin
Oh the world's still botherin
Yes, the world's still botherin me

I caught myself singing this with kind of a blues tune in my head. :) Nicely written.

Yes even if one commits suicide it does not change the world. To cause a change, be the change.
