Stick Poem by Allie Roth

Stick

Down and then back up
Goes the food on which she supped
Smaller and Smaller grows she
Bigger and Bigger grows the habit of she
Down and then back up
Goes the food on which she supped

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This was written about one o my ex friends. She was anorexic and bulmic. Her limbs were jaundiced, and her hands and feet were blue in color. She was one of my best friends, but she turned on me. She told me her deepest secrets.
