Stay Poem by Agastya Bhargava

Stay

Fingers trail across the keys,
The distance between us, occasionally overseas
Is closed. I value your words. I value you.
I know you think that whatever you plan to do
will benefit us in the future, suffer now, enjoy later.
But you are an answer to my prayer.
I cherish thee everyday.
The one who has blessed the month of May.
You who took and kept my heart.
You, from who I despise to part.
You're my world. If you're doing this for me,
Stay. Without you life feels lonely.
Stay. even if you're far away,
hearing from you, makes my day.
So if you can, Stay.
