State Of Mind Poem by Paddy Healy

State Of Mind

Rating: 5.0

I am lost in a labyrinth of glass,
I can see exits without any ends,
You I can see not the feel of your pass,
I'm lonesome with a plethora of friends,
Deaf I am not but you I cannot hear,
I hear your thoughts but your mind has no lungs,
I can reach the sky though it'll nay be near,
You gave me a ladder absent of rungs,
On a midsummers day a crack begins,
An ungodly glimmer of hope transcends,
A new leaf emerges, light again wins,
The chorus of weeping angels contends,
The solutions indeed are clear to find,
at the end of the day it's a state of mind.
