State Of Depression Poem by Corrine Andros

State Of Depression

And suddenly a depression, of which I thought was long gone,
Seems to come down on me again, and it weighs a ton,
Life has become something unimaginable,
And forever a thing untallable,
Loss is something like an everyday meal,
Just taking it in a trying to figure out if it's real,
Saying goodbye has become like sleeping,
Endless, and deepening.
