Fall Poem by Corrine Andros

Fall

Rating: 5.0

As the season begins to roll in,
And the leaves fall like sin,
My mind begins to struggle to focus,
And most of my thoughts seam to be bogus,
I hate the winter, this, everyone knows,
When my scattered mind can't grow,
Writer's block comes upon me like the falling leaves,
Oh, but my friendly smile does deceive,
Those who know me can not tell,
That the change to winter puts me through hell,
As I’m forced to shed my summer clothes,
And put away the sprinkler hose.

Very genuine feelings expressed here. I like the comparison of writer's block to falling leaves. Perhaps, this winter will be different. It has already inspired you to write a very appealing poem. Take care. Warm regards, Sandra
