Starting Over Poem by victoria martinez

Starting Over

Rating: 5.0

Sow what you will
The seams only split apart
Coldness drowning your every thought
Be what you will
Their personalities are so over bearing
Glares will drown your wants
Hold out on the good expecting more
Holding out for so long
You wish you could have gained so much more
Pushing into mistakes and,
Correcting your every action
Becoming a little better than your mother;
Just some inner satisfaction
Hold your tongue,
Bite it hard…
Ignorance is something no one can cure
Close your eyes;
Block out those unwanted words…
Take the advice and do the opposite
I need sometime to think things over
A little time to regain my self
Regain every moment in which I dealt
Took my cards;
Hit me … five new cards
And once again I can begin;
Like I was never alone…
