Start Running Poem by Ted Sheridan

Start Running

Rating: 5.0

This is for you...who called me a dreamer
if I thought for one minute I could shut your mouth....
How dare you tell me to shove it up my ass...
I'm not the name caller here....it's you
I'm not the bi-polar schizophrenic Kool-aid drinker you called me
Look in the mirror....if you have one that isn't cracked...
It would be you Pitcher...
So if you think that just because you
have the right to 'Freedom Of Speech'
It means that I have to shut up as well...it is you who is dreaming and not me....
but hey,
'Dreaming is better than just sleeping. In dreams
I am always young and still able to hit
a moving target 500 meters away with one shot.
In reality it would take me two shots
because I tend to lead my target a little more.'

Ted, is that one to 'Move On Dot Laxative'..., or George Soros....? ? ?

Isn't this the truth...the level of hypocrisy that the perpetually 'threatened' are blind to in their own lives makes them far less credible than they delude themselves into thinking that they actually are. I love the tone of this poem, Ted. It speaks volumes - and NOT in a cowardly way either. Bravo.
