Starry Starry Night Poem by Maria Regina Ancheta

Starry Starry Night

Rating: 5.0

I wish upon a star,
A star that brightly shine,
To which my wish came true
That everything would be mine.

But that would just only be a wish
A wish that would never become mine
I would burn t until it ashed
Till the next morning would be nice

Oh! whata starry starry night
Come down and hold me so tight
Though all my dreams could not come true
I believe in you no matter what.

Oh! How I love to watch you shine
For you have beenmy greatest charm
though your so far away from mine
I'll take care of you like your in my arms.

sky and stars are always good poetic symbols from time immemorial...you have made nice use of the star symbol in your pleasing poem...good scented imagination spreading out...10
