Starry Night Poem by Michelle Ruiz

Starry Night

Rating: 5.0

Cannot be captured nor be described
The spectacular display, I have in sight!
A vast night sky filled with myriads of stars
I could gaze above for countless hours

The deeper I look, the more they become!
Their number is beyond counting to sum!
Like diamonds, they shimmer & glimmer
In the dark expanse, they're sprinkled like glitter

They inspire awe without words to utter
Just looking above, instills in you great wonder
How I wish, the night will not end!
And just marvel at its beauty again & again

As night goes by, my hearlt melts with time
Now that everyhing seems to rhyme,
Wishing my love ones are here by my side
Thanking every precious moment I have in life
