Stargazing Poem by Sujay Sam

As the star light shines, I see a vision so clear
The moon light across the sky paints, felt your presence drawing near.
I wish as I watch a comet glide at night;
That you were beside, watching the stars shine bright.

Do you watch as the stars shine above?
Reminding you of someone, longing for your love;
That light that twinkles & glitters until your heart meets
An opened door ahead where I stand to greet.

Do you dream of that day where we light the fire?
A spirit that burns with an undying desire?
The day my heart's light up by the one I admire;
We'd make a journey to reach the stars up higher.

As the sun rises, I hope you'll always remember
There's always a someone out there, you're meant to be together.
Just look up the stars to paint a dream;
That we'd find each other somewhere along life's stream.
