Stardust

I feel it sneaking inside,
Sneaking inside my breath,
I feel it soaking me in its magnificent,
I feel my blood start to fall,
Drop to the ground,
And merge up in flower clarity,
My body starting to collapse,
As others start to extend,
I feel I’m starting to shrink,
Shrink into a speck,
I’ll be your shooting star,
I’ll follow you,
Whatever you are,
Sprinkle you with magic,
Help you fly away,
When you are sad I’ll cover your tears,
And smile in their place,
I’ll make you sparkle,
In the sunlight,
I’ll make you a star in the sinister night,
I’ll help you fill your heart,
With love from me,
And watch you in the rain,
To make sure the water that drops isn’t filled with salt,
And I’ll be here,
Here always with you,
And maybe someday,
You can be stardust too.
