STAR WARS AND ALL THAT
MISSILE HITS ANOTHER MISSILE

DRDO leapfrogs, to elite club;
matter of star wars is the nub.
wow, world number four,
cheer up, be not dour;
a bit of salt, in neighbour's wounds, to rub!

ASAT HITS BULL'S EYE

ASAT hit bull's eye
as it downed a satellite
high up in the sky
our rockets have brains and might
neighbours' envy is their plight

ASAT DEBRIS

debris dust settles;
as decay happens in weeks
proves boys have mettle.
space is not Latin and Greek
accept, when our best brains speak

Notes: First poem 2017, was written after AD missile test, in which a missile hits another missile!

can one hit a bullet with a bullet, a missile with a missile? This is exactly what our boys and girls have achieved.

The other two poems were written in 2019 after successful ASAT test.
There was an unnecessary controversy about debris.
....eminent brains have spoken on the issue of debris.
LEO was chosen to ensure quick decay of debris.
No space assets which are at much higher altitudes can be damaged by current test.
