Standing In Christ Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

'Men will hate you because of Me.'
His words now ring out so loud and true.
All who believe now suffer greatly
Persecution is here for me and you.

Many now please their itching ears
With the vain things that deny God,
All truths are banned as His coming nears
But those who stand firm will be glad.

Though hard-pressed, His Word we speak,
His Goodness, with joy we proclaim!
Through Him there is strength for the weak,
All who trust Him will never be put to shame!

We await with hope and steadfast faith
For all promises of God came to be.
He will come in glory, in power so great
His kingdom will reign eternally!
