Standing Alone Poem by Todd Jones

Standing Alone

Rating: 5.0

So there i am standing there waiting that endless wait
the wait that drags its drums on empty time and space

you left me there
soul shocked and miserable

as the sky and my eyes wept pouring forth pieces of apologies begging for the forgivness from the Almighty You

only the ground collected the shattered pieces and disposed of them properly.

This is great ''pouring forth pieces of apologies......'' that's a wonderful line. Very nice. Sincerely, Mary
