Stalker Poem by Colette Grosvenor

Stalker

You quickly turn your head,
To see if I'm still there.
You do it fast
Just in case I see you.
But I do see you,
I'm watching your every move.
My eyes never wander from your figure,
As you walk a distance in front of me.
I see the fear in your flickering eyes,
As I make my way towards you.
You've got it all wrong,
You think it's all about you,
But I'm just trying to get home.
