St Andrews Poem by Elizabeth Shield

St Andrews

All the hallowed, golden-crowned
Look down upon this sainted town
And with their praise and adoration
Of the Most High, sing with elation
A blessing upon all the years
Of men, ensconced here, battl'ing fears
To learn that, yes, silence is praise
And seek the Truth for all their days
