Springs Dawn Poem by Merlin Ofathens

Springs Dawn

as winter must soon surrender,
spring will take over,
and the warmth will envelop
over an old man who has seemingly grown cold
I say, seemingly. For yea, his heart remains warm
age had touched him, and the body is not what it was
yet the soul is eternal.
