Spring Poem by Kathryn Tyler King

Spring

The smell of Spring is in the air.
All we can do is sit and stare
At the beauty that is all around,
Tulips, jonquils and crocus abound.

The sounds of birds lightly chirping
And blue skies and breezes stirring.
What a wonder to see the earth
And animals many giving birth.

Spring is truly the best time of year
when summertime is almost near.
We climb out of our dreary rooms
To hike the hills and see the blooms.

The Lord has given us many wonders.
The earth is full and makes us ponder.
Lift up your heads, all the plants do
For our resurrection is coming soon.
