Am I getting any closer to You?

I know my time here is brief.

Your Spirit gives me life anew.

my soul content with real relief.


What is Your plan for us Lord?

Are we on the right path?

There’s nothing we can afford

To save us from Your wrath.


Only by the blood of Jesus

And His sacrifice so complete

can we ever stand righteous

before our God at his feet.


Now take my life and my plans,

my husband and music I play.

Help us to spread over the lands

the life that Jesus has portrayed.
