Spreading Light Even When You Are Shattered Inside Poem by Esha Raazia

Spreading Light Even When You Are Shattered Inside

O' the piece of my soul!
You don't need to crack open your heart
To show me all that has kept us from falling apart
You don't need to tell, when your actions speak
And beautifully paint pictures of what you mean

O' the piece of my soul!
O' the one who makes sure everyone goals!
O' you who has an essence of care in each role
That you play in thousands of lives, but you don't know!
Remember, when you understand those who feel that they are shunned
As they scatter their broken shards and pieces, and trust none
You take them in your arms, your heartbeat eases their pain
They know that you want them to keep themselves from going insane!

Yes I second you, this world is sadly a nasty place
With genuine love and attention locked in caves,
But the way you bring change with your smile, O' mine
I want to soothe you by creating a difference in your life!
Yes in the same way as you spread hope and light
By the Grace of God, in the dark and dead alleys of lives,
Because sometimes you break down into pieces too
And look up to your closest friends for tools
That help you dust off difficulties
And sincere hands that assist you in standing on your feet!

O' you who is the piece of my soul!
Allow me to fill hundred packets of hope in each hole
That are void of any handwritten 'Smile-Always Notes',
Ask me to stay with you
On nights when you sit under the moon -
Away from people and their cocoons,
Count on me and by the Grace of God,
You will find me beside you, no matter what!
In times when you try not to cry
But then break into tears that illuminate your eyes,
Where, when I peek in, I see
A sea of your own worries
That you hide from the lives that find space
In the warm and peaceful embrace of your arms!
