Sports Day Poem by Aimee Brimson

Sports Day

Rating: 4.5

Sat on the field,
Where the drums are going.
All in our houses,
Shouting, screaming and smiling,
Cheering their friends on.
With every house wanting to win,
The spirits is so very high.
Going race by race
Hoping they will win.
Now getting close to the end,
They are more determined than ever before.
All wanting that first place slot,
They are so very desperate indeed.
But we'll just have to wait and see,
Who very cleverly got to that spot.
