Spoiled Child Poem by empty shell

Spoiled Child

You were hiding inside
Took a walk, took a ride
Dropped a dime, saved a soul
Who asked you anyway?
Threw your hair down a well
Pulled me out of my shell
Glorious sun baked me whole
What were you thinking?
I bathed in your pool
Drank like a fool
The cup overflowed and I fell
What was I thinking?
Thunderous pain
Life’s not the same
Put me back in my shell
Who asked you anyway?
I’m hurt and I’m scared
I can’t be repaired
Put me back in my nest
Hate you from hell
I stared and I glared
You looked and repaired
Hate you, hate you, hate you
Love you, I love you
Thank you
