Spirits Of The Past Poem by Stephen Pennell

Spirits Of The Past

Rating: 3.0

You came in the night
Past the walls that I built
You painted me pictures of times that did'nt last
Trying to revive my memorys of our past
Holidays and summer days out, Cosy nights in, and day trips out
Its amazing how time can rose tint your past.
But when I wake up reality bites
And I remember the nightmares that you brought to my life
