Speak Poem by Alicia Meyers

Speak

When I talk,
You ignore me,
I know you can hear me,
When I speak.
When I say something,
Like if something was wrong,
You'll tell me we'll talk about it later,
But later turns into very long.
When I speak,
You ignore,
Tell me to do something,
But I don't do anything more.
You're complaining about how I abuse you,
Mentally not phyiscally,
You say I did this and that,
When I didn't do anything.
But I know why you ignored,
I know why you didn't like to listen,
It was because you had another girl,
And you had cheated.
You cheated on me,
Left me alone to die,
You ignored me all this time,
And I now it's time for me to cry.
When I speak,
You now don't hear me,
You don't listen,
Because you're free.
