Sparrows Leaving Poem by Marcene Lloyd

Sparrows Leaving

Rating: 5.0

Flocks of sparrows swirl
Like Autumn leaves in updraft
Wheeling and twirling.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
We were driving on a windy autumn day and leaves were swirling everywhere. Then, out of the corner of our eyes we saw what we thought was another upward leaf swirl and realized it was a small flock of sparrows!
