We use to hold hands and smile,
we use to share our moments,
our griefs and joy;
even in pains,
we found solace in each other's arms
and in our glances
we conquered a world of fear;
more than friends, we shared our souls.
Taking a walk down memory lane,
it's hard to see how we drifted;
so far apart into different worlds,
now as strangers in each other's company....
We must have lost our sparkle
somewhere down the lane,
'must have created a crack
now corrupted by vices,
we must have ignored the attraction;
the glitz in our smiles,
the warmth in each other's arms,
and those fondly affections we took for granted.
Tell me how to infuse our sparkle,
tell me how to lighten up this darkness;
'how to fill this vacuum; and
bring back those moments in our memories....
