Soul Searching Day Poem by Deandrea Grant

Soul Searching Day

Rating: 3.5

To experience the experience of the kind of day when your spirit is vivid livid and going through a phase
Even the sane cant explain waiting for an ultimate change
All the while you re having that kind of day that makes you feel deranged and estranged trying to get a grip on reality giving the last of me
Those days when the world isnt enough but only Gods grace and presence can resonate and give peace to those empty places and fill voided spaces
To experience the experience of seeking Gods power amidst enemies of your faith that are persistent of convincing you that the one you pray to cease to exist
So how can God hear you let alone deliver you
Test the spirits the word says but living in a world that even the holy of the holiest are transparent and seemed to be misplaced
To experience the experience of doubt but to remain loyal to your faith thats the testimony of an experience of a soul-searching day

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Enemies of your faith is reference to satanic influences whether its a test through situations, circumstances, dealing with spirits of infirmity, heaviness, fear or things of this world that you see and symbolically or certain life styles seem to make you feel that you walk in righteousness is in vain but you remain loyal to your faith. Because you have a spiritual relationship with God that can't be deterred.

'They are persistent of convincing you that the one you pray to cease to exist.' One should pursue one's faith by studying the Holy Books and applying own conscience to the best of one's understanding. Others need not convince.
