The day is blue like your eyes
The night is black like your heart
My tears fall for you like I did
My heart was crushed by your smile
My thoughts were destroyed by you
But yet I still love you
You helped me live
You taught me how to care for someone
You taught me how to show love
And most importantly you taught me how to love
For this I cry
You were my first love and I was hoping you were going to be my last
But it was just a dream
Dreams can only go so far
Promises can only be broken once
Forgiveness is easy
Forgetting is hard
Forgetting that you cheated
Forgetting that you loved me
But most of all forgetting you is the hardest
