Sonnet: ’tis Wiser To Get God’s Help Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: ’tis Wiser To Get God’s Help

The things we do, need not be all correct;
How they are done, we never know for sure;
The time to do, we know not to select;
We do most things as if in a seizure!

How long to try before we can give up?
How do we know our direction’s proper?
How long to sip or change to newer cup?
Many a time, our take-off’s improper!

The man who gets God’s help in life is sane;
Great achievements will surely come his way;
God is an advantage- a boon, not bane;
Impossible things then see light of the day.

Success/ Failure are decided by God;
The prudent man will lean upon the Lord.
