In Covid times, so many people die;
And many suffer in ways in ways rife untold;
Some persons cannot even say, ‘Good-bye! '
A simple mask at prices high is sold.
The chaos caused by pandemic is much;
Relatives are afraid of burying dead;
The elderly and frail cannot food fetch;
Sick-overwhelmed, some hospitals haven't bed.
Most activities have come to a halt;
The rich and poor are caught alike in states;
No one can blamed be for 'tis no one's fault;
And sadly shut are quarantined homes/ gates.
The virus strikes most ruthlessly mankind;
All pray to God to be overly kind!
