Do make up with your brother man, make up!
Your flesh and blood who feels for you all life;
What if he comes to freely with you sup!
The peace you make can remove all your strife.

What if he had really done you wrong!
Aft’r all, your brother mustn’t you forgive him?
Someday, he will regret and for you long;
Make peace; make life around you lesser grim!

‘Don’t come to me’, says God, ‘unless in peace
With your brother; then you offer your heart! ’
Just one kind word can many hearts appease;
We must forgive others ’fore we depart!

So first make peace with your earthly brother!
Then only can you love your next neighbor!
