Song Of The Rose Poem by Jodie Mayhew

Song Of The Rose

Alone She Stands
With Silent Beauteous Presence
My gaze beholds the Essence of her Form
Her Perfume Lingers Softly;
her Aroma I inhale
Indignence fills me when the scent is gone.

Her Petals flushed with Vividness
A Harmony of Hues
Divinity is etched upon her Face
The Colours of Her Symphony
though seemingly subdued
A Rainbow
of Melodic Serenades.

Her Gentle, Silken Texture
speaks of Femininity
So Delicate;
She Dances Under Sky
In awe I stand before the Silent Beauty of The Queen
As she Sings to Me
A Visual Lullaby.Jx
