Sometimes There Is No Answer. Poem by Jessica Roux

Sometimes There Is No Answer.

Rating: 5.0

A storm of constant cliché
Lie in my body.
The translucent heart
And the precious bone(s)
And naked mouth.
One drink
And a perfect transgression.
Empty.
You once felt whole
Before you allowed the storm
To sweep you in.
You don’t remember?
what I whispered in your ear:
(you told me nothing was real)
Through storming seas
And crashing rain
You are but the rock
smoothing the waters.
I am but a tiny ship.
(but I disagreed) ,
Everything is real
I just choose to feel it.
Unlike you
who took one sip
to fade away forever.

Meaningful poem, there are people really who can't keep their words! Thank you, top marks.
