Sometimes Poem by Tigana Chileshe

There are times when the light shines so bright...
When christ is near and close by.
I smile, i laugh because his presence shines in my heart.
the devil sees and knows it so he withdrews because he is unable to bring me down.
Others notice and they are drew by the light of christ in my life.
But other times do come when the light seems so dim and my life so dark.
When i draw and walk away from christ by the company i keep and the things i do.
The devil sees and he smiles at it because he is able to bring me down into the spiritual wilderness where god seems a million miles away.
I cant pray, walk or read my bible because the guilty is so much,
the condemnation so great.
But when i get down on my kneels and pray the light comes shining through as jesus washes my sins away and makes me whole and the devil reminds me of my past i smile and remind him of his future...
