Something About Flowers Poem by Judah Quintana

Something About Flowers

Turn around and walk back inside. Sit down, have a smoke, and breathe in the air. It all seems to work out, no matter how bad it hurts. Step back and look at yourself. See if you can find anything right about you. You can't? Then how'd you expect to do this? Pay attention... You'll fail, You'll fail, You'll die. So what did you do? You did nothing, only what you were told. Were all listening and very little are hearing it. So close your eyes, silence your mind, and listen. To hear it is better than being numb.
