Have you ever felt trapped inside of your skin?
Have a desire to be free, or to be someone new?
Knowing most of your energy and time are often spent
Living for someone other than 'You”.
Lost in and on, an obscured path…
Of fulfilling roles and changing form
To satisfying everyone else at the end of the day
Yet- your empty and you still feel unborn

Today I will breathe a breath for myself
Take my first step to bounteous road
Where I can set goals, and embrace who I am
The person that no one yet knows…
