I will try to leave it all behind.
I will try not to get tears in my eyes.
I will try just to walk away
Before I hear you say

I will try not to let you know
I will try not to let it show
I will try not to understand
Before I hear you say.

That you don’t want me anymore
That you are just too bored
That you know I understand
That you just don’t wanna be my man

That you wish to be left alone
Before I have shown too much
That you do not want my love
Even when push comes to shove.

I guess this is what you’ll say
Fore I know this will come someday.
