Solitude Of Pride Poem by A Waltz For Zizi

Solitude Of Pride

Perhaps I've run too far from you
and in my pride to surpass the past
I walked by your smile without stopping

But I've glanced. I saw, I still know you
by heart, even after so many years
the freckles are still there

making up for everything you lost.
In my shyness I told myself
there isn't anything good in me anymore

you could not possibly want my solitude.
