Solitude Poem by Asokan Suppiah

Solitude

Rating: 3.8

Oh solitude
spread your wings
take me far away
where clouds meet
the mountains and
the sound of
chirping birds
bring tears to
my eyes

Oh solitude
Spread your wings
take me faraway to
the oceans where
I could enjoy the
sunrise and the setting
sun

oh solitude take me
faraway to the
flower gardens
to watch the
buzzing bees
kissing the rose
petals

Oh solitude
close your wings
and drop me
in the land where
my heart is

Solitude in natural environment can inspire innovative train of thoughts besides the serenity, and beautiful landscape. A lovely piece of poetry well articulated and nicely penned. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
